Our mission is to close health equity gaps in underinvested communities

We believe that all people deserve access to the healthcare they need, regardless of their social, economic, or cultural circumstances. That’s why we established the IMPACT FUND. We help our partners obtain access to the capital they need to get their public health services up-and-running. The IMPACT FUND uses a transparent and equitable process to identify, support, and monitor community-based innovations in service and information delivery. By providing subgrants to our partners, they in turn have the financial resources needed to provide programs and services to our K-12 school system.

Our Financing Model

The Impact Fund financing model is inspired by CAPGI

The Impact Fund financing model is inspired by CAPGI. “Collaborative Approach to Public Goods Investments” (CAPGI). CAPGI channels local stakeholder self-interest (using confidential bidding) into a sustainable financing mechanism for mutually beneficial upstream investments. Benefits may be financial or non-financial, depending on the intervention and stakeholder. CAPGI is predicated on a level of trust and collaboration.
